Hi, it’s now 6 months since Internet Guru Hosting became Web Necessities and I thought it was a good time to touch base with our customers.
Boy has there been some changes over the 6 months.
Firstly, the hosting renewal process is now automated and renewal invoices are being issued before the due date. This certainly beats having to manually create invoices in MYOB and chase up overdue accounts.
Then, once a first payment is made on the new system, your account is upgraded to our new packages, giving you an increase in storage space and bandwidth.
And now our hosting infrastructure has been completely upgraded to newer, faster hardware. This has resulted in a big improvement in server up time and eliminated the need to contact our datacentre to recover locked up servers.
So now is time to introduce a few new products.
First off we are offering website development services using the WordPress content management system. In particular we are focusing on Responsive Website development. Responsive websites are designed to detect the viewing device (ie smartphone, tablet or desktop) and adjust the page layout to suit. This is important as in recent weeks Google has made it pretty clear that the “mobile friendliness” of websites has become a major factor in search engine positioning.
With this in mind we’re positioning ourselves to become experts at Responsive Website development and we are offering to convert existing websites over to a responsive templates, or alternatively, build a new Responsive Website from scratch. If you are interested check out https://www.webnecessities.com.au/website-conversions/ for pricing.
We are also offering website maintenance bundles and very shortly you’ll be able can purchase 5hr blocks of website services at a discount rate. This time can then be applied to a range of different website management tasks when required.
Finally, I’ve decided to expand on my consulting activities to offer Internet Strategy development services. This is specifically about building a focused blueprint for your online activities and how it integrates with your real world business. I’ll be launching this soon with a initial free 15min consulting call. Look out for it.
Anyway that is enough for the moment. If you have any further questions or comments, feel free to contact me at email@example.com
